King Street Townhouse has renovated its award-winning restaurant, The Tavern.

The Tavern is a warm and inviting retreat, showcasing soft lighting, plush booths and lavish décor synonymous with the Eclectic Hotel Collection properties, designed by co-founder and interior designer Sally O’Loughlin.

“We’ve been inspired by the relaxed, neighbourhood restaurant scene in New York,” says Eclectic Hotel Collection managing director Richard Kwiecien.

“The Tavern at King Street Townhouse offers seasonally-inspired contemporary cuisine infused with Eclectic sensibilities. All day dining from breakfast to brunch, a quiet spot for your business lunch, a relaxed and informal dinner, post work drinks or a place to simply enjoy a coffee, laptop in tow. This is the all day dining destination that Manchester has been waiting for.”

On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout December, The Tavern will have a DJ playing from 6pm – perfect for post-work drinks in the most Eclectic of settings.

Serving classic favourites crafted from local, market-inspired ingredients alongside smaller sharing plates and the sought after afternoon tea, The Tavern is Manchester’s place to eat, sip and socialise for informal, everyday occasions.

The beautiful and intimate wine cellar hosts up to 14 people. Guests will enjoy an arrival glass of Montaudon Champagne followed by indulging in five different cheeses with a selection of chutneys, figs, celery, grapes, freshly baked breads and crackers alongside paired wines.
