Get ready to get more competitive than Monica and Ross at Thanksgiving because there’s  a Friends-themed quiz coming to town.

We’ve all been going a bit Friends mad here lately.

The queues have been huge in Primark with fans of the show waiting in line for hours to get their own taste of the Central Perk cafe  and to get a snap on the famous orange sofa (which – trivia alert – was actually found discarded in the basement of the Warner Brothers studios, thank you very much). And that doesn’t look like stopping any time soon.

Perfect timing, then, for this opportunity to flex your superfan credentials and earn those eternal bragging rights over your mates, once and for all.

Fans of the hit US 90s sitcom can prove they are the show’s biggest fan at a huge Friends-themed pub quiz taking place next month.

Brush up on those famous quotes (“We were on a break”), come armed with your best Friends trivia and, who knows, it could be you taking home the Geller Cup at the end of the night.

Hosted by two woman team the Quizzly Bears, superfans should be prepared to be tested on everything from the name of Joey’s La-Z-Boy to how many times Ross needed to turn in the spray tanning booth.

It takes place at The Blind Pig on Monton Road, Eccles on Wednesday 3rd July from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. It’s free to play, but make sure to book a table in advance as it looks like it’s going to be busy.
