Zouk Tea Bar & Grill’s well-loved and much-missed brunch makes a welcome return this Autumn, featuring a range of breakfast classics alongside a dish or two with a special Zouk twist.
For those who like a little spice on their dishes in the morning, dishes such as Bollywood Benedict (Eggs Benedict on toasted muffin Bollywood style with Zouk’s creamy spiced Hollandaise, cheese and a dash of chaat masala) and Masala Omelette (Indian omelette with onions, fresh green chilli, ginger, coriander and spices on toasted sour dough with mesclun side salad) will tantalise the tastebuds.
Zouk will also be serving up Channa Puri – the most commonly eaten breakfast in India – chickpeas cooked in a spicy tomato masala and served with Indian fried bread. Those with a sweet tooth can choose from an array of dishes, including fluffy pancakes with caramelised bananas, Zouk’s waffles and Halva bowls (traditional Pakistani sweet halva with syrup and fresh fruit). For those looking for a healthy option, there’s plenty to choose from, including Acai
Bowls (Zouk granola and fruit topped with acai berry puree), Smashed avo with chilli salsa and Baked Makhani eggs.
Children can choose from the general brunch menu or go for the Kids Combo, which offers a plain omelette, scrambled or fried eggs, chicken sausage, hash browns, toast, a choice of side and a small fresh juice.
And it’s not just about the food, there’s also a selection of drinks, including breakfast smoothies, fruit juices, teas, coffees and Zouk’s bespoke 24 Carat Gold Cappuccino, which has gold leaf, caramelised sugar and cardamom biscuits.
