Celebrate Third Place’s first birthday with summer drinks on the New Islington marina!
On Friday 21st June, 60 Manchester women will be taking over House of Esk on New Islington Marina.
Owned and operated by a fellow Northern lass, Emma, we’re so excited to bring you to this waterside bar that’s known for its wonderful wines and welcoming atmosphere.
We have exclusive use of Hose of Esk so it’s just us Manchester gals.
Tickets include 4 drinks with alcohol and no alcohol options.
Don’t worry about coming to this event on your own – most people arrive by themselves but leave with lots of new friends. Plus, the Third Place team never stops nattering so you’ll always have someone to talk to.
Whether you’re new to Third Place or you’ve been to an event before and are looking to reconnect with some of the same lovely faces, we’d love to see you there!

What will happen at the event?
A week before the event, Bethany (Third Place Founder) will create a WhatsApp group for the attendees so you can put faces to the Third Place team and say ‘hi’ to the other attendees if you’d like to.
7:00pm – Doors open. Bethany and the team will be there to greet you and hand out drinks tokens.
Chat, mingle, drink, dance, and make friends!
11pm – House of Esk closes. Head home or take the party elsewhere. There are plenty of bars nearby if you want to carry on the fun.
Ticket Information
- Tickets are non-refundable. At checkout, you’ll be prompted to choose either the alcohol or no alcohol option.
- The alcohol ticket option includes 4 drinks tokens. Choose from: glass of white, red or rosé wine; prosecco; single spirit and mixer; soft drink.
- The no alcohol ticket option includes 4 mocktail tokens.
Dress code
The dress code is: something summery. Whether it’s a summer dress, a jumpsuit, or a two piece – please wear whatever feels summery and comfortable for you.
Friendly reminders
- All Third Place events are open to 18+ only.
- We kindly ask that only those who identify as women attend Third Place events.
- If you will be drinking alcohol, please bring your ID in case the venue asks for it.
- Please note that there will be some photography at the event – some photos and clips taken on the Third Place team members’ phones and a camera.
