
RHS Garden Bridgewater is thrilled to announce the return of its popular Summer Music Sundays, promising a delightful blend of music, nature, and relaxation for visitors of all ages.
Summer Music Sundays take place from 2-4pm, with free admission for RHS members and normal garden admission for non-members. The Wellbeing Garden will host a series of captivating musical performances, creating the perfect atmosphere for a leisurely Sunday afternoon. Relax in comfy deckchairs and enjoy the soothing environment of the Wellbeing Garden – dancing is encouraged if the mood strikes!
Performance dates
- 11 May, Amber Heywood: The first Summer Music Sunday of 2025 features Amber Heywood, a north-west-based solo vocalist and guitarist.
- 18 May, The Swing Beats: Following the success of last year’s gig, The Swing Beats return to the garden with their unique take on pop songs infused with a modern jazz twist.
- 1 June, Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band: Celebrate the end of May Half Term with the vibrant Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band. Their evocative and joyous music spans Rajasthani folk songs, Bollywood hits, Bhangra beats, sci-fi and intergalactic funk and well-loved pop songs.
- 8 June, Cacophany Arkestra: An afternoon of lively music is provided by Cacophany Arkestra, with an interactive, roaming performance combining a blend of vibrant Calypso, soca, and jazz tunes.
- 6 July, Cadishead Public Band: Stirring tunes from the renowned local brass band.
Monthly Bridgewater Late events also make a return for the summer, starting on Saturday 17 May with Horti-CULTURED, presented in partnership with Manchester Fashion Movement. The RHS Bridgewater Horticultural team will be strutting their stuff on the catwalk alongside professional models, celebrating independent northern creatives who champion sustainable fashion. And on Friday 20 June and Friday 18 July, the garden will be open until 9pm so visitors can soak up the serene atmosphere of golden hour and twilight.
