Playing at The Met is always a special homecoming concert for Simon Campbell who was born and grew up in Bury, who you will remember from his bands The Disciples, Whitefire and Little Brother.
Multi-instrumentalists Starlite & Campbell are curious souls, constantly exploring new sounds, ideas and thoughts. For this new project, they are joined by jazz-rock fusion drummer, Hugo Danin – one of the finest drummers in Europe.
The band will be playing your favourite songs from their award-nominated and highly acclaimed albums Blueberry Pie, The Language of Curiosity, and Starlite Campbell Live! plus fresh exciting music from their new album Starlite.One – complete with double harmonies, vibrant guitars, deep bass grooves, explosive drums and analogue synthesised soundscapes that melt your heart at the edges.
