Book your place with Didsbury Singers for our Spring choir workshops for upper voices (sopranos and altos)
Are you keen to sing in 2025? Not sure if you’re brave enough to join a choir but really want to do something a bit more challenging than just singing in the shower? Want to have some fun singing but without a weekly commitment? Then why not try a two hour singing workshop instead? You can improve your singing, create beautiful harmonies with others, learn about your voice, do something creative and carve out some quality time for yourself!
Award winning choir conductor and singing coach Hannah Brine is running four singing workshops for upper voices (that’s sopranos and altos) from Jan- April, in conjunction with Didsbury Singers. Hannah has founded eight choirs, some of which have performed at the BBC Proms, Olivier Awards and even at the Royal Variety Show with Gary Barlow. She has also conducted the Wilderness Festival Choir for the last three years.
The workshops will be on selected Saturday afternoons in the St James and Emmanuel Parish Centre Didsbury, from 2-4pm (25th January, 1st February, 15th March & 5th April)
You can book for an individual workshop for £20, or book the whole series for £70. Each workshop is a stand-alone event so you don’t need to come to all of them to have a brilliant sing and explore some fantastic music. Hannah’s extensive knowledge means there will be something for everyone, regardless of your personal singing experience.
