Showcasing North West artists work and hosting a series of creative workshops.
SHOW X will consist of 12 artists’ work, showcasing the vibrancy and diversity of Manchester’s art scene, including audio art and interactive elements. Listen to spoken word pieces using headphones, whilst watching the video produced on the screen, use the magnifying glass to see the close up detail on hyper-realistic drawings and enjoy games to find hidden subjects within artwork.
The activation will feature local Manchester artists including Steph Morris, Pete Obsolete, T Monterisi, Sketch, Joe Blackwell, Cigs, Brandina Chisambo, Amy Coney, 4JB3, Nasha Cash, Cyrus Ho and Dani Wright.
Throughout the three-month collaboration, there will be opportunities to meet and work with the artists themselves, through creative workshops, classes and live performance events. Explore layering and textures through multimedia artwork with Dani Wright, learn to doodle and draw in Pete Obsolete’s unique style, or engage in abstract self portraits with Nasha Cash. There are 7 artist workshops to partake in, the full workshop schedule is outlined below.
HEADS provides a platform for creatives in Manchester and has hosted 50+ events since its inception in July 2022. The new collaboration with INNSiDE encourages hotel guests and the Manchester community to #StayCreative and #StayCurious, with the launch of a 3-month art activation.
The collaboration with HEADS forms part of INNSiDE’s #StayCurious ethos which promises to accommodate guests’ every need with considered comforts and locally inspired experiences.
