Enchanting festive light show Glow returns to RHS Bridgewater, Wednesday to Saturday evenings from 15 November to 30 December and tickets are selling fast.
Lighting experts SLX have created a glittering new trail, illuminating the garden’s best-loved features on a magical winter walk.
There are also two exciting new interactive commissions for 2023.
Kaleider’s Twist and Shine is a playful installation of giant, interactive light sculptures. Made out of interconnected triangular prisms, visitors can twist each glowing sculpture into thousands of different shapes and create their own shining work of art.
In a joint commission with Lightwaves 2023, Malik Jama, an artist based at Manchester’s Venture Arts, will create an interactive projection mapping piece. Malik’s work focuses on digitally manipulating photography and film to create large-scale murals that can be projected onto buildings and other irregular surfaces.
Jago Juggling Arts will also return for 2023 with their popular halo light show, performing every night of Glow.
As well as dazzling views at every turn, visitors can tuck into a selection of tasty festive treats and warming drinks from the Bridgewater Café, Stables Café and Shepherds Hut. At the end of the light trail, step inside the RHS Bridgewater Garden Centre to find a treasure trove of Christmas decorations, gift ideas and festive houseplants.
All tickets must be booked in advance, and visitors are advised to book early to secure their preferred date and time. RHS Members can enjoy a discount of up to 40% off tickets
