Especially for the occasion, First Street Bar & Kitchen will be transformed into the quintessential summer destination with traditional bunting and balloons. Dogs will be welcome to join owners at the table with their very own seat and glamorous afternoon tea stand adorned with the best sweet treats. For just £58 humans can indulge in a classic afternoon tea, featuring an Italian-inspired deli selection with parma ham bruschetta with spicy ‘nduja, Italian honey and pistachio, truffle cream cheese on wholemeal bread with delicate pickled cucumber, classic Loch Duart smoked salmon served with creme fraiche on Italian ciabatta and a traditional Clarence Court egg mayonnaise and watercress with a hint of mustard served on soft white bread.
Essential to any afternoon tea, guests can enjoy traditional plain and sultana scones served with strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream. For some sweet treats, indulge in a Ferrero Rocher chocolate and hazelnut cheesecake, Italian panna cotta with amaretto, strawberries, basil and crushed amaretti biscuit, a lemon and blueberry tart on an Italian meringue and Tiramisu.
