Take a micro adventure in your own home: design a dream room on a budget with interiors expert Lucy Burt & micro-adventurer Katya Willems.

Join us for a chilled evening and create a gorgeous room in your house. The beautiful interiors of the Beaumont Organic store make it the perfect setting to get you in the mood. Microadventurer Katya Willems will guide you through the process of creating a vision board of your dream space. Once you’ve dreamed up your room, interiors expert Lucy Burt of Nest Interior Design will give you practical advice on how to execute it on a budget.

We will encourage you to go wild on your board (you can scale things back when you get to the planning stage). Choose a theme, get bold, think of patterns, colours, textures. Leafing through magazines and looking at images will get those creative juices flowing.

A big part of the process is getting clear on the vibe of that room and vision boards really allow you to tap into your imagination without fear of getting things ‘wrong’. Vision boards also give you the opportunity to test out furniture, design, and colour palette ideas.

What you need to bring for the event:

• a photo of the room you want to work on
• the measurements of that room
• a few inspiring magazines
