Half Term in Bloom at Trafford Palazzo

Celebrate National Children’s Gardening Week with half term activities designed to encourage little gardeners to bloom!

National Children’s Gardening Week celebrates the fun that gardens hold for kids. So we’re hosting a half term week of blooming fun activities for kids this half term that will really encourage little green fingers to get stuck in and grow!

This half term, Trafford Palazzo plays host to a garden themed extravaganza in partnership with Manchester Urban Diggers to celebrate National Children’s Gardening Week. Free for everyone to attend, the activities are designed to let little imaginations bloom whilst exploring the fun that gardens hold for children.

Along with a schedule of fun-filled daily activities, there will be a community arts project where children can create flower handprints to form a beautiful floral collage over the week. Little budding gardeners can even take home their own seeds and plant pots to continue gardening at home.

Manchester based florist Plant Shop will also host a boutique pop-up with beautiful flowers and plants available for visitors to buy and take home for their loved ones.

As well as special guest appearances from much-loved mascot Maximus Palazzo and his favourite gardening friends, there will be a face painting station and live DJ.
