Are you ready for a monster mash-up?
This October half-term, Trafford Palazzo is creating a Halloween Half Term Hangout that encompasses a week of fun activities and workshops for all families to enjoy completely free of charge. From live reptile and dinosaur shows to craft workshops and silent discos, Trafford Palazzo promises a frighteningly good time for everyone involved.
All events are available free of charge but tickets to some events must be booked in advance.
Live Dino Show!
21st October – 12pm – 4pm
Kicking off the Halloween activities with a roar, T-Rex and friends will take over the event space, managed by a ranger, to entertain the crowds and encourage families to get involved. The immersive and interactive experience will be held in 20-minute sets throughout the afternoon. There is also the chance for guests to tuck into some tasty treats crafted by Rossendale baker Isabel, founder of Isabakes, where a variety of beloved sweet treats including cupcakes, brownies, cookies will be available.
Our Kids Social – Lino Print Workshop
22nd October – 1pm – 4pm
The Lino Print Workshop, the first of three activities brought by Our Kids Social, allows families to create their own print using sustainable products and learn about the importance of protecting the environment. There will be three sessions running at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm and families can book their spot on the workshop in advance here. Whilst the children are busy participating in the workshop, parents can indulge in sweet and savoury delights at Sam Bakes’ food pop-up stall which will be present for three days of the Half-Term Hangout event.
Crocodile Joe
23rd October – 12pm-4pm
The much-loved Crocodile Joe is back and better than ever! He will be joined by his reptilian friends again this year for an interactive and educational experience, teaching children about the fascinating world of reptiles.
Our Kids Social – Halloween Silent Disco

What better way for families to truly get in the Halloween spirit than a spooky Silent Disco at Trafford Palazzo?
Our Kids Social – Make your own spooky monster head!
25th October – 1pm – 4pm
Our Kids Social invites children down to Trafford Palazzo for an exciting monster head making workshop! The workshop encourages children to dial up their craft skills and unleash their creativity. There will be three sessions running at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm and families can book their spot on the workshop in advance here.
Born To Be Wild Child – Monster Mash Party
26th October – 2pm – 4pm
Get ready for the little monsters to be unleashed as Born To Be Wild Child takes centre stage with their Monster Mash Halloween Party of the season. The 2-hour party features an exciting line-up, including a DJ, Halloween crafts, temporary tattoos, bubbles, a starry parachute, as well as dance and party games… families won’t want to miss out!
Creepy Creations Craft Session
27th October – 1pm – 4pm
Trafford Palazzo are hosting a creepy craft session for children to create their very own trick or treat
bucket, just in time for Halloween. The spookier the better!
Halloween Face Paint and Live DJ
28th October – 12pm – 4pm
Talented face painters will transform guests into their favourite spooky character, while the DJ will bring the party to life with everyone’s favourite Halloween tunes to set the perfect, eerie mood. On the final weekend, Royal Treats from King Pins will also be available to get everyone kick-started on their trick-or-treat haul a little earlier. Yellow Threadd will also be making an appearance on the last weekend of the Half-Term Halloween Hangout, offering and specialising in quirky nostalgia inspired jewellery and accessories.
