Great Northern Graduates

An exhibition of handmade contemporary craft, shining a light on talented graduates.

Launched in 2010, Great Northern Graduates was an established exhibition within the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair for nine years. Waterside Arts and Creative Industries Trafford have been working closely with the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair to reintroduce the exhibition across both venues; offering exciting opportunities for these talented graduates to showcase their emerging collections and creating the perfect chance for visitors to see and buy from the strongest graduate talent.

The exhibition includes work from the two recipients of the Creative Industries Trafford Development Award 2023, Hannah Baxendale and Niamh Grimes. The award winners were selected from the BA (Hons) Product Design & Craft course at Manchester School of Art for their distinctive approach to their individual crafts.
