A female-led comedy night with noughties-inspired sleepover games and alternative comedy sets!
The noughties called…and it said you’re invited to the coolest Slumber Party in town, hosted by “viscerally relatable” and chronically online comedian, Charlotte Cropper!
This month’s theme – BIRTHDAY!
Grab your comfies and get ready to stay up late because we’ve got:
The hottest alternative comedy acts on the circuit (yes, so hot you will be doodling their names in your diary until next month’s show)
A deep-dive into all the classic sleepover films that have definitely aged well…
Slumber party games for our comics and you, the audience, to play!
Oh…teehee. Silly us, we totally forgot to mention – there’s also a 3am sleep paralysis demon, Bertie the “King of Banter” Bear, and free popcorn for every audience member – cute!
Please note: the venue is up a flight of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.
Who’s staying over this month?
Jain Edwards
Surrealist stand-up Jain Edwards is bringing her unique brand of comedy to Slumber Party! Featured on BBC Three and Channel 4, Jain brings new light to topics such as iron lungs, autism and the surprising health benefits of chemtrails. Cursed with extreme likeability and suffering under the weight of “being an absolute sweetheart”, Jain struggles on.
Seeta Wrightson
Semi finalist of BBC New Comedy Awards 2021and tour support for Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Tessa Coates, Seeta is a 5ft 2 brown, Bradfordian woman, sharing the stories of growing up mixed race, mixed up and skint AF – but with attitude aplenty.
Will Burns
Will Burns is the outrageously cheeky, camp Leeds Lad with a big fat banquet of innuendoes to feed on… Burns is raring to be unleashed.
Robyn MacPherson
Our showcase spot from the University of Salford’s rising comedy talent! Robyn is a newcomer who’s been let loose onto the Manchester scene to bring audiences their unique, hilarious (and usually incorrect) take on the world around them. Robyn has endeared themselves to their audiences with their positive outlook and their relatable stories which are only enhanced by their deeply unhinged way of telling them.
and
