New skills, tasty dishes!
Our half day cooking classes will spice up your home kitchen and add a little energy and zest to your recipe book.
Created to teach curry enthusiasts how to recreate some of Zouk’s favourite dishes at home each class comes with hands on tuition and step by step instructions. We’ve found that our customers love our curries so much that they want to impress friends and family by being able to rustle up some of their favourites in their home kitchen. No matter what your level of cooking ability might be, we promise you’ll leave with all the know how you need.
Every class commences at 10:00am with a welcome drink of desi chai and an introduction from our tutors. During the class you will learn a selection of dishes, and this can vary slightly from course to course but generally includes: two starters, two main courses, a rice or a side dish. To make the course as interesting as possible and very hands on, we make sure every participant gets to marinate the food, prepare the ingredients and cook the dishes. Dishes for each course are carefully chosen so that our students get an idea of the tastes and properties key herbs and spices will infuse in each dish. And the best bit…. at the end of the cooking everybody sits down to share the food and enjoy what they have prepared and cooked.
The class ends at roughly 1:30pm after everybody has had full opportunity to enjoy the food the class has prepared.
