Get ready to celebrate with your pooch at BARKPRIDE, an in-person event where dog lovers come together for fun, laughs, and prizes!
We are excited to be hosting BARKPRIDE for the second year in Kampus Gardens!
Our chosen Charity this year is The Albert Kennedy Trust which supports lgbtq+ young people aged 16-25 in the UK who are facing or experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment.
The dog show/competition kicks off at 11am and will be hosted on the catwalk by the fabulous drag queen Alexa Tuppence and our groomers will be onsite from 10am to help ‘glow up’ your pooch in preparation.
There are five categories to enter:
- Loud and proud – (Best Dressed) all the rainbows, colours of pride, glitter.
- Sassiest b*tch – Waggiest Tail/ Bottom
- Best Duo – Dog that looks most like their owner (dress up if you choose)
- Prettiest Pup – Dogs under 1 years of age
- Yaas Queen – Best Drag name or outfit.
(All categories are gender neutral)
We also have fantastic prizes from our Kampus neighbors including vouchers from Nell’s, Madre and Pollen, a bottle for you and your pooch from Beeswing and Seven Brothers giving mixed beer and a bottle from Four Sisters.
We will have a small stall selling all things Pride and will be serving up puppuccinos and doggy ice cream.
