The heavy heavy sound of Manchester coming to Mossley for a right festive skank

A super charged 11-headed ska monster is heading to Mossley this festive season, leaving a trail of skanked out bodies in its wake.

Celebrated Mancunian oddballs Baked A La Ska, named after the iconic 70s dessert with an ice cream centre, will be ringing in Christmas at The Vale on Friday 13 December 2024.

With a high energy, crowd pleasing set list which has previously included Britney Spears’ Toxic, Survivor’s Eye of the Tiger, Gary Numan’s Cars and even Trust in Me from The Jungle Book, the outfit promise to bring the “heavy heavy sound” of Manchester to Mossley.

Support comes from DJ fflyffilyfbb, self-described as unpronounceable but danceable, called a “top DJ in my book” by Andy Kershaw and celebrating his 32nd year of DJing in assorted fields, clubs and tents.
