Come along to our Discover in A Day, a full day of creative activities, and explore beautiful art in our galleries and collection.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR FUN AND CREATIVE THINGS TO KEEP YOUR LITTLE (AND NOT SO LITTLE!) ONES OCCUPIED THIS SUMMER?

Following the success of last year’s sessions, we are once again offering a full-day Arts Award workshop to children visiting the museum this summer.

Come along to our Discover in A Day, a full day of creative activities and explore some beautiful art in our galleries and collection.

Learn about the incredible life and work of Jewish artist, Margarete Heymann (Grete Marks) and get inspired to create your own art! The workshop will also involve lots of hands-on activities, including sketching, collage, and ceramic art.

Over the course of the day you will complete a logbook, which you can take home with you. We will also post you your Arts Award Discover certificate after the session!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The workshop is designed for ages 7-13. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please only book 1 Adult ticket with each Child ticket as the capacity is limited.

There will be a lunch break during the day. You can book a vegetarian lunchbox from the museum’s Cafe with your ticket.
