Be immersed in colour as Manchester’s most energetic art event Art Battle MCR heads to Aviva Studios.
The event will see 10 brave artists compete in a competitive painting frenzy, with one eventually voted the winner.
Painters, illustrators, tattooists, and street artists will go head-to-head – each of them given a blank canvas and 30 minutes to create a masterpiece. Crowds can move around the action, watching the art come to life and ultimately deciding who will be crowned champion.
Since 2013, the nomadic Art Battle Manchester has never used the same venue twice, delivering 26 sold out battles across the city in mills, warehouses, music venues, theatres, a swimming pool, a carpark, a skate park, an old Debenhams and even an old fire station!
Hosted by broadcaster/DJ, Hattie Pearson, Art Battle MCR XXV will mix up the live art with DJs, street food, plenty of drinks and all manner of unexpected shenanigans.
