Alison Hughes, practitioner of Christian Science healing and member of the international speakers’ bureau, the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, will present her talk, “A lasting, healing solution to hopelessness,”

This talk explores how practical, transformative prayer makes a difference in the world, when we learn to trust
God as infinite Mind and Truth.

It will focus on universal healing precepts found in the Bible, especially in Christ Jesus’ life and teachings, showing how they are available for anyone to understand and experience through the lens of Christian Science. The talk is free, open to the community, and hosted by Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist, Manchester.

Sharing examples of healing from her own life and professional practice of Christian Science, Alison will explain how people can prove its effectiveness for themselves.
