Manchester’s Southern-inspired venue celebrates 50 Years of Hip-Hop with five renowned live acts

The autumn season at The Blues Kitchen Manchester invites the most celebrated acts in Hip-Hop to the stage for a series of live shows.

Kicking off the programme is Houston-based rapper Devin The Dude on 31st October. Known for his unique style and groundbreaking collection of tracks released during the peak of the late 90s and early 2000s, Devin takes to Manchester for an all-Texan takeover.

London-based Coops takes centre stage on 3rd November. After his debut London event taking the O2 by storm as Nas’ supporting act, Coops has been making waves across the UK scene and brings his sounds to the North for one night only.

On 8th November, American-Filipino producer MNDSGN is set to perform one of his first shows after the release of his upcoming, highly-anticipated, 16-track album Snaxxx. Head down to the Concert Hall to witness the LA pioneer in transatlantic action during the special event.

Later in the month, on November 17th, The Four Owls’ own Verb-T returns to the city for his solo gig, dropping live performances of his recent single. With a discography working with notable artists such as Slick Rick, Al Green, De La Soul, and Jimi Hendrix – this is not one to be missed.

The godfather of the era which changed the destiny of Hip Hop forever, Pete Rock, will join forces with the legendary ensemble The Soul Brothers on 3rd December. Fusing sounds of soul, jazz and RnB Pete Rock and The Soul Brothers will showcase their sensational live performance.
