Looking for some Easter-themed fun on a budget?

We’ve got you covered with this top list of Easter egg hunts in Manchester.

Best of all? They won’t break the bank – with all of them being under a fiver.

Eggsellent stuff.

From a trail around the beautiful Dunham Massey to a free Easter egg hunt at Fog Lane Park there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

So grab your baskets, your best snooping hat and get ready to hunt.

Easter egg adventures at Dunham Massey

When – 20th March – 20th April 2024

Designed with children of all ages in mind, Dunham Massey’s Easter Adventures trail features ten activity stations which highlight the joy of longer and warmer days, from bright and beautiful daffodils to spring birdsong.

Follow a route that takes in the medieval deer park, 400-year-old mill and extensive gardens. Enjoy a picnic on the lawn or go fallow deer spotting across the 300 acre parkland.

Every trail includes a chocolate egg (vegan ‘Free-From’ chocolate eggs available), made in the UK using cocoa from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.

Heaton Park Big Egg Hunt

Heaton Park’s flagship Big Easter Egg hunt will return on the 8th – 9th April.

Everyone from the tiniest tots to big kids can take part and hunt for eggs hidden around the park.

To take part all you need to do is visit the Heaton Park reception based in the tunnel at the stable block and follow the map to locate clues that will help you solve the puzzle.

To claim the prize, Easter egg hunters will simply need to return to the Heaton Park desk with the completed mystery word puzzle.

The Great Bunny Hunt at Fog Lane Park

Fog Lane Park will also be running The Great Bunny Hunt form 1 April to 16 April.

Easter fun seekers and little ones will be encouraged to find the rabbits hidden all around the park.

To take part, please visit the Fog Lane Park Café for an activity sheet and a small prize.

Spring Into Cring at Cringle Park

Cringle Park, will be hosting their ‘Spring Into Cring’ Easter event on 7 April from 11am to 4pm.

The event will feature an Easter Egg treasure hunt around the park.

Complete with music to boogie along to, hot food and ice cream the Easter egg treasure hunt is perfect for residents wanting to get involved in Easter fun.

In addition to this, the Easter Egg hunt will be accompanied by a table top sale, organised in collaboration with Grounded MCR-perfect for those wanting to grab a bargain.

Smithills Easter egg hunt, Smithills

When: 23rd, 24th, 29th March – 1st April 2024

Egg hunts are guided by dedicated farm egg-sperts.

Families are led into the woods where the egg hunt arena is.

Children get the opportunity to search for rubber and plastic eggs and are able to egg-change for chocolate ones. (Non dairy option also available). Other prizes to find too! Easter bunnies and chicks are there hiding too!

Cost? £4 per child for the egg hunt on top of normal admission fees for all. Admission £12 per adult, £10 per child 2 -10. Under 2s free

The giant Easter egg hunt at RHS Bridgewater

When: 29th March – 14th April 2024

Follow the hunt around the garden to find the hidden giant Easter Eggs. Each egg has been hand painted by artists Cath Ford and Alastair price based on designs by local school children.

Once you’ve found all the eggs, you’ll be rewarded with a free chocolatey treat from NOMO – The UK’s No. 1 Vegan & ‘Free From’ Chocolate Brand.

Included in garden admission price, free for RHS members.

Easter Egg Hunt and Party, Sale West Community Centre

Join Stride for Truth for a fun Easter Egg Hunt and Community Party.

Along with the magical Easter Egg hunt you can also expect some fun activities.

There will be classic fun games and activities, a children’s Easter disco, arts and crafts, boxing and football, face painting and hair braiding.

Plus there will be a sweet shop with prizes, sweet treats and goodies and Magical Easter bunny corner.  Plus lots more.

The event will run from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm. Entry is £5.00 for adults and kids go free .

Davyhulme Park Easter Egg Hunt and Fun Day

When: Sunday 24th March 2024

Join friends of Davyhulme Park for a fun filled Easter event.
