MORE EXCITING PLANS IN STORE FOR 2024

2024 is poised to be a big year for the band.

They are gearing up to release a 45th Anniversary Edition of their timeless compilation ‘Singles Going Steady’ through Domino Records.

Additionally, the band is working on a brand-new studio album that promises to captivate both loyal fans and a new generation of music enthusiasts.

STEVE DIGGLE TO SHARE INSIGHTS IN HIS UPCOMING BOOK, ‘AUTONOMY’

Intriguingly, Steve Diggle will offer a glimpse into the band’s extraordinary journey with the forthcoming release of his book, ‘Autonomy.’

This promises to provide readers with a unique perspective on Buzzcocks’ remarkable story and their enduring impact on the music landscape.

A LEGACY OF PUNK AND POP FUSION

Buzzcocks burst onto the scene, setting the standard for fusing the raw energy of punk with irresistibly catchy pop hooks.

Their initial albums, ‘Another Music in Another Kitchen’ and ‘Love Bites,’ catapulted them to prominence.

However, it was their groundbreaking ‘Singles Going Steady’ collection that solidified their reputation.

Timeless classics such as ‘Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve),’ ‘Orgasm Addict,’ and ‘What Do I Get?’ left an indelible mark on the punk rock scene of the ’80s and continue to inspire today’s pop-punk artists.

After the heartbreaking loss of Pete Shelley in 2018, Steve Diggle  led the band’s resurgence with the release of ‘Sonics In The Soul.’

This album garnered critical acclaim, with Classic Rock praising it as “the sound of a band rebooted and reinvigorated.”

Uncut magazine’s review aptly concluded, “There’s easily enough here to steer the trusty old craft into new, uncharted waters, just as Shelley wanted.”

As Buzzcocks prepare to take their place in Camden’s Music Walk of Fame, fans and music enthusiasts alike can look forward to more electrifying performances, new music, and a deeper understanding of their incredible journey through Steve Diggle’s upcoming book.

The punk pioneers continue to inspire!
