Beverley Knight will be the headline act at the Tim Bacon Foundation Dream the Impossible charity event on Thursday 21 September 2017.
Beverley, famous for hits such as Get Up! and Shoulda Woulda Coulda as well as taking the West End by storm in shows such as Memphis and The Bodyguard, will perform at the Albert Hall on Peter Street.
Actor and BBC 6 Music presenter Craig Charles will continue the party with one of his legendary funk and soul sets, with The TBF Dance Band keeping things moving along in between.
The evening will begin with what is believed to be Manchester’s first ever city-wide banquet in nine Living Ventures restaurants, followed by what promises to be an unforgettable party.
All money raised for The Tim Bacon Foundation will go to the charity’s inaugural appeal for Christie’s Proton Beam Therapy project and Maggie’s Centres, which provide much needed care for cancer patients.
The event has received massive support with businesses queuing up to be restaurant and event sponsors to help the Foundation hit the half a million pound fund raising target.
Main sponsors already committed are Allied London for Manchester House; Shoosmith LLP for Australasia; Palatine PPE and Deloitte for GUSTO; Finch Insurance Brokers for The Alchemist New York Street; Asahi UK for The Alchemist Spinningfields and Relentless Group and Bruntwood for Grand Pacific.
