One of Manchester’s favourite nightclubs is reopening following an extensive £430,000 refurbishment bringing 15 new jobs into the city centre.

Bosses have gone all out to refresh the venue with a complete refurb, influenced by a management trip taken to the infamous Tao in Las Vegas.

“We have a really loving and loyal fan base in Manchester and we wanted to give them something back and deliver an even better venue and night out,” said Ark general manager.

The new look décor will feature exposed brick walls, plush VIP booths, Buddhist statues, red swashes of plush textured fabrics and a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system.

The venue’s popular drinks range has also had an upgrade. Managers have introduced a fresh range of classic cocktails as well as Cîroc vodka sharers, craft beers and an extended range of weird and wonderful spirits from across the globe.

Ark will also be the first club in the UK to feature a tattoo Martini range with three signature martini cocktails: choose from the Manchester Bee, a Sailor Jerry’s tattoo or the Ark logo and get snap happy with your squad as you pose with your custom martinis.

The opening weekend will see the venue host a glamorous array of VIP parties on 24th and 25th August including the return of Orderly Conduct – Manchester’s biggest Friday night – offering £2 drinks on top of the daily 50% off all drinks promotion.

Ark reopens its doors on Friday 24th August. Ahead of the opening weekend, there’s a secret launch party on Thursday 23rd with admittance strictly via a secret password hidden on their Facebook page.
