Manchester’s number one independent shopping destination is to reopen on Saturday 20th June with COVID-19 health and safety measures in place.
Over fifty of your favourite traders from American Graffiti to Zeffa will be open across all four floors at Afflecks, which has been closed since March.
The Afflecks team and traders have been working hard to ensure that the building is a safe place to be whilst still allowing customers to enjoy its unique spirit.
New health and safety measures in place include a one way system, two metre distancing across the building and reduced capacity.
The Tib Street entrance will be closed as part of a new entry and exit procedure.
The Church Street entrance will be no exit, whilst entrance to and exit from the building via Oldham Street will be managed.
“We’ve worked very hard, together with all the traders, to create a safe and sustainable independent shopping experience,” said Bruntwood Works retail director, Andrea George.
“We recognise how hard hit small businesses have been by this crisis and we’re committed to ensuring that the independent retail remains at the heart and soul of the high street as shops begin to reopen.”
Afflecks reopens on Saturday 20th June. From Tuesday 23rd June, it will be open Tuesday to Friday, 10.30am-6pm and Saturday 10am – 6pm.
