Manchester’s Hotel Football is set to fully re-open its doors on 17th May – and they can’t wait to welcome back guests.

There is some availability for walk-ins – although weekends are already heavily booked.

The drinking and dining indoor areas will require guests to adhere to the ‘rule of six’ or ‘two households’.

All guests will be required to provide details to meet track and trace requirements for all areas of the hotel, bar and restaurant.

The hotel will be re-open for leisure stays from 17th May in line with the government guidelines.

Check-in for hotel guests will now be at the slightly later time of 3pm to allow time for full sanitation of the rooms, with check-out at 12pm.

Tuesday 18th sees 10,000 fans back in Old Trafford for the premiership game against Fulham.

The hotel’s Old Trafford Supporters club will be open pre and post-game and will also be showing the game live.

Numbers will be restricted due to rule of six and social distancing.

The hotel is kicking off its events schedule with a Paul Scholes weekender which is a two night package including hotel stay, meals and a pre-match Q&A with Paul Scholes and live screening of the Wolves game on Hotel Football’s roof top pitch, Heaven.

Following this, the hotel will be launching its sounds of the weekend brunch over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The hotel also has a package for the Europa League Final with an overnight stay and the game screening live in The Old Trafford Supporters club located on the ground floor.

It is also set to become the home of the Euros with live screening of each game at its rooftop Heaven space.

Independent bookings for larger events across the venues unique event space including the roof top football pitch and bar, Heaven are set to be permitted from 21st June.

Chris Hull, general manager and his team have been preparing the venue for the return of guests paying every attention to detail in order to help keep everyone safe.

The venue has been fully sanitised and daily ‘sanitise fogging’ will take place throughout moving forward.

“We are obviously hugely excited to be re-opening in less than seven days and it looks like our guests can’t wait, too,” says Chris.

“Following on from Boris Johnson’s Monday 10th briefing, we had a huge spike in bookings and enquiries for stays, dining and events.

“They were both from a corporate and a leisure perspective.

“We have larger events booked in ranging from birthdays, corporate conferences to school proms. It’s going to be a busy summer.

“Our packages for Old Trafford museum tours and hotel stays are proving to be hugely popular for families during the summer holidays.

“Many may be choosing to stay in the UK this year and they are making exciting plans and experiences for all the family.

“Christmas enquiry bookings are also coming in thick and fast for parties.

“We can’t wait to get going and we want our guests to be reassured we are going beyond when it comes to keeping them safe.”

Cafe Football will return with services for breakfast, lunch and dinner opening from 6.30am – 10.30pm Monday – Sunday.
