In 2020, when events across the UK were cancelled, Gisburne Park created an innovative socially distanced festival site with hexagonal pitches bookable for bubbles of six people.

The pop-up hosted nearly 150 events across the season, welcoming over 40,000 guests, all socially distanced and creating 100 jobs for the events industry in doing so.

This year the festival returns for one weekend only with a jam-packed weekend of live entertainment covering everything from an Ibiza Orchestra to Mamma Mia Live, food and drink, and the option to enjoy a weekend of boutique glamping.

Nestled in the Lancashire countryside, Gisburne Park pop-up is set against the stunning backdrop of the 1000-acre Gisburne Park Estate.

The socially distanced pitches give guests a designated and comfortable plot of their own complete with deckchairs and table service for a VIP festival experience.

With no queueing at the bar and no bumping into one another, the pitches allow for a comfortably, socially distanced festival experience for all.

The full weekend line-up includes a mix of live music and family entertainment

Guests have the option of booking day tickets or boutique glamping tickets which come complete with a stay in one of the sites luxury bell tents.

This exclusive glamping village is set in a six-acre field, made up of just 20 widely spaced, luxurious bell tents, each with a stunning view over the Ribble Valley.

Each five-metre tent is fully furnished, complete with a double bed, electric power, outside decked area, a fire pit and all the home comforts.

On-site holiday lodges at Ribblesdale Park, complete with a private hot tub, amenities and home comforts, from flat screen TVs and integrated sound systems to en-suite bathrooms, are also available to book for groups of up to six.

For bigger parties, Gisburne Park’s holiday cottages host up to 16 people. From large dining rooms to private hot tubs, games rooms to hidden annexes, each cottage is unique, offering a space for groups to get together in comfort and style.

As well as the festival itself there’s plenty to do at Gisburne Park, be it relaxing by the heated outdoor pool or exploring the acres of the beautiful countryside of the estate.

Nature and wildlife are aplenty with everything from deer roaming nearby, peacocks wandering the grounds, kingfishers, otters and even reindeer to be found in the woodlands, waters and fields across the 1000-acre estate.

The on-site restaurant, Hindelinis serves up home cooked food all day whilst BBQs are available to hire for those looking to do the cooking themselves.

Gisburne Park pop-up runs from Thursday 27th May – Monday 31st May. Tickets go on sale on 17th March from gisburneparkpopup.com. Day tickets start from £35 for a child and £55 for an adult. Glamping is available at Gisburne Park from April – October, more information here.
