Escape Hunt Manchester is now open again, welcoming back the public to enjoy five star indoor adventures in Manchester’s Corn Exchange.

And to celebrate, they’d like to say thank you to some of the local individuals and organisations who have made an outstanding contribution to Mancunian communities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Each week for the first month of re-opening, Escape Hunt will randomly select a nominated NHS employee to come and enjoy one of its indoor escape rooms or one of its play-at-home experiences.

To nominate someone, just go to their Manchester Facebook page and tag an NHS hero who will then be in with the chance to win a free game to enjoy with their household or social bubble.

Escape Hunt will also be opening nominations for the public to nominate local businesses who they feel have made a difference to the community during lockdown and deserve to be rewarded with some escapism and adventure with a free team building game experience.

The business may have adapted to continue serving the local community in new ways, really gone the extra mile during lockdown, or volunteered their time to help others whilst the business was closed.

“We are so excited to be opening our doors up to the public again, so that customers can come and enjoy our popular escape rooms and outdoor adventures once again,” says Richard Harpham, CEO of Escape Hunt PLC.

“It’s also incredibly important to us that we can thank just some of the people who have been so dedicated in giving back to their community during the past few months.”

If you’re not ready to visit yet, you can also experience some of Escape Hunt’s original games from the comfort of your own home, working virtually with your team to escape from the immersive rooms.

Other brands already open in the Corn Exchange include aparthotel Roomzzz, eclectic bar and kitchen Banyan, Gino D’Acampo, Tampopo, Berlin-inspired Doner Haus, authentic, family-run Italian restaurant Salvi’s, Mowgli and Cosy Club.

The remaining resident brands, Pho, Pizza Express, Vapiano, Wahaca and Zizzi, are set to reopen to the public from mid-July onwards.

“We’re excited that another one of our fantastic brands is able to safely welcome visitors again,” says Liam Mooney, general manager at Corn Exchange Manchester.

“Just as with all of the teams onsite, Escape Hunt has worked hard to introduce measures to keep colleagues and guests alike safe whilst enjoying their unique experiences and we’re delighted that they’re using their reopening to reward some of Manchester’s amazing local heroes.”
