Manchester pancakes are absolutely banging.
We’re all gutted the Dutch Pancake House is no longer a thing.
But, as well as having some great restaurants serving them up year-round, there are also lots of venues doing specials for Pancake Day this year for those who don’t fancy battling it out in the kitchen themselves.
From bottomless pancake events to the best places to find plates of traditional crepes and fluffy American boys, keep reading to find your perfect pancake date.

Fuwa Fuwa (fluffy fluffy)
Souffle pancake specialists Fluffy Fluffy are celebrating Pancake Day the light and airy way as they dish up their fluffy souffle pancakes.
Fluffy Fluffy’s souffle pancakes have been causing a stir in store and on social media alike with their, wobbly cloud-like desserts smothered in decadent toppings.
Each pancake is hand-made to order with fresh ingredients.
Egg whites are whipped to soft peaks giving that airy quality for which they are famous.
The pancakes are then slowly cooked at low temperature for the signature round cloud-like pancakes.

Evelyn’s will be serving up their super fluffy buttermilk pancakes until 4pm on Pancake Day.
Choose from long-time menu favourite – berry compote, butterscotch, honeycomb or their Pancake Day special – Macerated strawberries, Nutella and toasted coconut.

Atlas Bar
Situated in the railway arches of Deansgate, Atlas Bar has been a Manchester icon for over two decades.
And they are offering a delicious stack of bacon and maple syrup pancakes for you to sink your teeth into.

Moose has long been a popular spot for delicious, trouser-busting pancakes which heroic-sized portions that could satisfy the most hungry punter.
And now, luckily for you, there are two sites across Manchester to pick from.
They are notorious for serving up some of the chunkiest pancakes.
With amazing toppings like chocolate peanut butter, banana and pecan, apple and salted caramel (to name but a few) you can’t go far wrong with Moose this pancake day.

The Cosy Club
You’re invited to Cosy Club’s Pancake Day Celebrations.

An absolutely outrageous, brilliant selection of pancakes with some of the most generous portions going, Black Milk shouldn’t be far off your radar if you’re looking to indulge on pancake day.
Specialists in the sweet stuff like milkshakes and pancakes – you can pick from Kinderella (Kinder and nutella), salted caramel biscoff, cookies and cream, white chocolate and pistachio or cookies and cream.

19 Cafe Bar
19 Cafe bar is a great place to get brunch, and have always done fantastic pancakes so it makes perfect sense to hit them up for Pancake day.
The self proclaimed ‘best brunch in Manchester’, set in the heart of the Northern Quarter 19 cafe bar serve up some seriously thick stacks.
They are the perfect place for a hearty breakfast pitstop or for a fashionably late trendy brunch.
You can pick from: Belgian chocolate chunk, biscoff, fruit, bacon, kinder and oreo too.

Koffee Pot
Koffee Pot is an iconic part of Manchester life. Especially for the hungover.
They have been serving breakfast for over 40 years now, so pancakes are naturally one of their areas of expertise.
And did we mention the portions are absolutely massive?
They serve them in one style, called ‘All American Pancakes’ (£11) which are buttermilk pancakes, sausage patty, smoked streaky bacon, hash brown, fried egg and maple syrup.

Fress in Northern Quarter are offering a pancake based afternoon tea at the moment.
For £20pp you can tuck into dark chocolate biscoff cheesecake layered with fruit compote, and topped with white chocolate and coconut strawberry.
Salted caramel and dream cheese frosted pancakes.
Strawberry and white chocolate milkshake, or hersey cookies and cream milkshake.
You can even upgrade for £25 to an alcoholic versions of the milkshake, adding baileys or amaretto depending on your preferences.

Lovers of pancakes can get flipping excited this month because Bar Moxy are offering free pancakes to anyone buying a drink on February 13 th .
Moxy is inviting foodies to indulge in free pancakes with any drink purchased on Pancake Day. From a coffee to a cocktail, customers can purchase any drink to redeem up to 3 free pancakes per person.
From classic lemon and sugar to a Nutella and marshmallow stack, customers can pimp up their pancakes with whatever toppings they desire from Moxy’s pancake topping station.
Vietnamese Pancakes at Pho
Pancake Day is coming up and if you’re planning any stories on where to go for any interesting or different pancakes, Pho is a great place to start. We love a traditional pancake, but why not switch it up this year?
Their classic Vietnamese pancake (banh xeo) is incredible. It’s savoury, crispy, and will blow your mind. Made with a thin layer of rice flour, water and turmeric, it’s fried up in a pan and filled with either tofu, chicken or prawns and served with fresh Vietnamese herbs and a salty dipping sauce (nuoc cham).
What’s more, this pancake is perfect for vegans and gluten free diners.
Pho normally only serve their banh xeo in the evenings but for one day only – Shrove Tuesday – you can get them all day long.

Strapped for cash? Don’t worry, 11 Central have got you covered at Central Bay, the glorious food hall which has nearly any type of food your heart could desire!
They are offering 50p pancakes on the 13th of February at Central Bay.
There’s no need to break the bank – with sugar and lemon pancakes priced at 50p.
Want to push the boat out? Additional toppings such as Nutella & Banana will be available, starting from £3.50.
No booking is required, visitors can simply show up on the day for their free serving, subject to availability.

Smithfield Social
On Tuesday 13th February, The Smithfield Social on Thomas Street is going to be serving classic lemon and sugar pancakes for free to celebrate Pancake Day from 9am-12.
