A screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show is coming to a secret Manchester location

This April, the VIP cinema will host a special screening of Richard O’Brien’s legendary rock ‘n’ roll musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Held in a secret location somewhere within Manchester city centre, tickets for the cult movie screening start at just £12 per person.

For those who have been living under a rock and don’t know the plot, the iconic tale is set outside Ohio’s merry Denton and sees a blissfully-affianced, prudish, and boringly innocent young pair stranded on their way to visit an ex-tutor.

In their search to get on their way again, Brad Majors and Janet Weiss inadvertently unearth cross-dressing Dr Frank-N-Furter’s spooky lair.

They arrive just in time to partake in the out-of-this-world mad scientist’s proud unveiling of his latest and most daring creation – the ultimate male and the perfect sex symbol, flaxen-haired Rocky Horror.

Little by little, Brad and Janet slowly begin to embrace the potent fascinations of seduction, while an idolised Rocky roams free in the mansion.

Upgrade options are available to make the most out of your screening, with packages for bottomless drinks, chips, popcorn and even polaroid pictures available to purchase at the checkout.

For an additional £20 plus booking fee, you can opt for as much gin, vodka, wine and/or beer as you can muster throughout the 1-hour 40-minute screening.

Bottomless soft drinks start at £12.50, whilst popcorn and candyfloss bags are available from £4.
