Danish homewares store Søstrene Grene is opening its doors to its fourth British store in Manchester on Friday 11th October and to celebrate the unveiling, the first 144 customers will receive a voucher for one of their Bow chairs, which can be redeemed at a later date.

Located in The Royal Exchange, one of the most iconic, grade II listed buildings in the city, customers can expect minimalistic, Scandinavian designs in a wide-range of homewares, furniture, kitchen products, Christmas decorations, gifts, wrapping paper, cards, hobby crafts, toys, accessories and ‘mini home’ products for children. The product selection is ever-changing, giving customers a new experience with every visit.

Every Søstrene Grene store is designed to give customers a break from their busy lives, as they search the shelves for new and exciting finds.

The family-owned retail chain aspires to enrich everyday life with aesthetic designs, creativity, joy and ‘hygge’ – a special state of contentment, warmth and belonging. The layouts are like labyrinths and the colourful products are neatly displayed in wooden crates under a relaxed, subdued lighting with a classical soundtrack.

Jonathan Cooper, joint venture partner for the store, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to officially open the store and thought we would treat the first 144 customers to a voucher for our Bow chair as our way of saying a special Scandi thank you.”

The Manchester store officially opens on Friday 11th October at 9.30am – just a year after the opening of Søstrene Grene’s Altrincham store, which saw hundreds of excited customers queuing down the street.
