Lightweight boxer Anthony Crolla returns home this weekend for a special meet and greet at the Bierkeller entertainment complex.
Crolla made headlines in 2014 after attempting to apprehend two burglars at his neighbour’s property in Chadderton, Oldham. He managed to stop one of the offenders, but then was hit on the head with a brick or piece of concrete which led to him being hospitalised with head and ankle injuries.
Whilst these injuries could have seen the end to his career, Crolla bounced back to win the WBA lightweight title in 2015.
Manchester boxing fans can look forward to a talk and photo opportunity with him at the Printworks bar on Saturday 9th June.
The Q & A takes place between 2pm & 5pm and gives fans a chance to quiz the Manchester boxing legend about past fights and his plans both in and out of the ring.
Packages start from £10 per person with booking required to secure a place.
