This Argentinian restaurant in Manchester is serving vintage Malbec from its own vineyard

What better way to celebrate 10 years of wine making than by trying some vintage Malbec from your very own vineyard?
Wonderfully mature and just waiting for you to try, 2008 Vina Patricia is the featured vintage Malbec on the wine list at Gaucho Manchester.
Described by Gaucho’s director of wines Phil Crozier as coming from an outstanding vintage, Vina Patricia is an exceptional Malbec, produced in the old region of Lujan de Cuyo.
“It has richness, elegance, power and lifted aromatics of violets and sweet spice,” says Phil.
Back in 2007, Gaucho took the bold decision to buy a small vineyard in the Zona Primera region of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza and teamed up with winemaker Mauricio Lorca, who has made every vintage since.
The vineyard is certified organic and tended to in the Mendoza tradition, surrounded by cherry orchards and peach trees. The vines are all Malbec so you can be sure of absolute quality in every bottle.
This is your chance to try wine from some of the best vineyards in Argentina made specially for Gaucho. The special 2008 vintage will be sold at the current list price for Vina Patricia at £51.50. A brilliant drink for date night, impressing that special someone or just indulging yourself.
It may be some of the best Malbec you will try in the city – especially served alongside a Gaucho ribeye steak.
