Turning the Town Pink to support Prevent Breast Cancer.
This inspiring initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Prevent Breast Cancer and is supported each year by Altrincham’s businesses and the community. The events include the SS25 Paint Altrincham Pink Fashion which has become a highlight of Altrincham’s annual calendar of events and new for this year, The Pink Ribbon Trail, both produced by Altrincham BID. The charity, based at the Nightingale Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital, is the only UK charity entirely focused on the prediction and prevention of breast cancer.
From Friday, 10th March to Sunday, 23rd March, there will be a variety of events all aimed at raising awareness and funds:
Pink the Rink with Manchester Storm
- Saturday, 8th March | Doors 6pm, Match 7pm
- Show your support at Manchester Storm’s ‘Pink the Rink’ event – an electrifying ice hockey match dedicated to raising funds for Prevent Breast Cancer. Book at: manchesterstorm.com
The Pink Ribbon Town Trail
- Monday 10th March – Sunday, 23rd March
- Follow the Pink Ribbon Trail around Altrincham for the chance to win a luxury hamper worth over £1,000! The hamper includes VIP Weekend Tickets to The Brit Fest worth £64), a £50 Tre Ciccio voucher, and a selection of fantastic, pink-themed products from Altrincham businesses.
