2025 Theme: Increasing Inclusion

This milestone edition focuses on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Mindfulness, with a particular spotlight on neuro-affirmative practice.

Edition 5 is an exciting collaboration with Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP). MiSP works with a diverse audience in the context of education and has a wealth of experience in adapting curricula and facilitating trauma-informed mindfulness practice.

Whether you’re in the education community or a mindfulness enthusiast, the day promises to be a hive of diverse voices engaging in meaningful conversations, cultivating the co-creation of more inclusive approaches to teaching and practice.

The Manchester Mindfulness Festival is an independent event that is run at cost and not for profit. The festival aims to serve the community with a comprehensive programme filled with highly informative mindfulness-based talks and workshops, making mindfulness more easily available to everyone and inspiring ripples across the region and beyond.

The festival enables many connections, leading to the creation of community initiatives, creative partnerships, and other projects based on the social application of mindfulness, a practice that often appears as me-centric due to its inward focus but can significantly contribute to a more inclusive world.

Previous Speakers include:

Ester Ghey, Prof Mark Williams, Prof Rebecca Crane, Dr Tamara Russell, Hycinth Taylor, Prof Willem Kuyken, Prof Ruth Baer, Liz Lord, The Mindfulness Initiative Awards 2024, Dr Kelly Birtwell, Kalyana Bliss, BAMBA, Mind Salford, Dr Ken Lunn, Dr Phil Startin, Imani Sorhaindo, Louise Haynes, PhD, Sue Tibbles, Chris Ruane, Kareen Griffiths, Mark Leonard, Nick Hammond, Lucy Keller, Lucy Woods, and many more Mindfulness experts!

We aim to make the event as accessible as possible. Concessions are available.
