The sunshine might not be guaranteed but the sushi and champagne are at Australasia, Manchester’s stunning colonial style bar. It is hosting a one off Veuve Clicquot Terrace on Sunday 28 August from 3pm – perfect for anyone looking to kick back and unwind in style.

Sit back, sip champagne and enjoy Australasia’s heated terrace and canopied outdoor garden by booking a Veuve drinks table at just £30, which is redeemable against drinks and food throughout the night.

Indulge in a selection of sushi plates and choose from oysters, sashimi, nigiri and Californian rolls, or combine them with a mixed selection.

One of Australasia’s resident DJs will be playing eclectic music throughout the afternoon and a saxophonist will be playing laid back tunes right through to the early hours.

Since its launch in 2011, Australasia has specialised in modern Australian cuisine combined with Pacific Rim flavours, underpinned by European cooking tradition and Indonesian and Southeast Asian influences. Australia’s strong routes with Japan have also helped steer the style of the offer.  Dishes are executed in true Australasia style – with imagination and skill.
