It’s that time of the year again. It’s either chucking it down or freezing cold or both. Thoughts turn to summer. Time to book those summer holidays and festival tickets.
In case you haven’t heard, the line-up for this year’s Parklife has been announced and it looks like the biggest to date.
Headlining are The xx, Liam Gallagher and Skepta with Lorde, NERD and J Hus also on the bill.
Its not just about the music:@Parklifefest is now the Biggest Metropolitan Festival in the UK.
In 2017, it generated 9.8 million economic benefit to the Manchester economy.
In 2017, it raised 75k for local charities.

This will be a return to Heaton Park for Liam, who played there in Oasis’ massive shows in 2009 and when Beady Eye supported The Stone Roses in 2012.
Also taking to the stage over the weekender will be British soul star Jessie Ware and BBC Sound of 2018 winner Sigrid, Chvrches, Bonobo, Justice, Everything Everything, Four Tet, Kelela, Bugzy Malone, AJ Tracey and Stefflon Don.
Parklife takes place in Heaton Park on 9 and 10 June 2018. Tickets go on sale Thursday February 1 at 9am. Weekend tickets cost £109.50 with day passes priced at £65.
