Neapolitan pizza is about as close as you’re likely to get to Naples without jumping on a plane. And if, like us, you’re a fan of the crispy charred crusts, pliable dough and the perfect soupy mess of cheese, sauce and olive oil then you’re in luck.

The award-winning Italian family-owned San Carlo Group have just announced that they are opening a new concept, Pizza Madre by San Carlo, opposite the flagship San Carlo restaurant on King Street West.

Not a true reflection of the oven at San Carlo Pizza Madre

Pizza Madre will buy accutane in thailand serve a range of traditional Neapolitan pizzas cooked in a wood burning oven and a selection of delicious rotisserie chicken. The bar will serve a selection of Italian artisan beers alongside classic wines and all at a very reasonable price.

The restaurant is set to open in late spring following a major refurbishment of the site after FEAST at 47 King Street West, Manchester.

San Carlo Group managing director Marcello Distefano said: “We’re excited to be bringing a very new and different concept to Manchester and look forward to revealing more soon.”

Frankly, we can’t wait either.
