Two of Manchester’s swankiest destinations pair up to offer the ultimate decadent package

Decadent, luxurious and steeped in history, Great John Street Hotel and high-end Italian restaurant Rosso have joined forces to offer Mancunians a new, decadent weekend retreat package.

Owned and designed by Eamonn and Sally O’Loughlin, the Eclectic Hotel Collection boasts four exclusive townhouse properties within Manchester and is one of the leading hotel and lifestyle brand operators in the city centre.

Great John Street Hotel, located adjacent to Spinningfields, is a converted Victorian School that’s been transformed into a luxury townhouse hotel with a decadent rooftop.

The hotel is individually styled with eclectic interiors that reflect and celebrate the building’s rich history and surroundings, and each bedroom and suite is uniquely designed to give that personal touch to the experience.

Stylish lounges such as the ground floor Oyster Bar and the south facing Rooftop Lounge and Playground offer guests ample space to relax and recline in style. Take your afternoon tea on the roof, or pop on your swimmers and hop into the rooftop hot tub with a cocktail and de-stress.

Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand’s glittering restaurant Rosso stands proudly at the top of the prestigious King Street and is well known for its excellent Italian food, great service and electric atmosphere.

Great John Street Hotel has long been a city centre haven perfect for relaxation and play. Now, guests staying with Eclectic can take advantage of their new partnership with Rosso, which will be running from June to September 2018.

For £400 Sunday to Thursday and £450 Friday to Saturday, guests can enjoy an elite package encompassing a one-night stay, afternoon tea at the hotel (on day of arrival or departure), and a cocktail, beer, glass of house wine or Champagne in the Oyster Bar, followed by an Addison Lee car to Rosso and an indulgent three-course dinner at the restaurant before heading out to explore Manchester city centre’s nightlife.

Then, when you’re done with the city, head back to rest your weary head in an Eclectic Grand Suite at Great John Street hotel with breakfast the following morning.

From a luxurious weekend away to an intimate dining experience, the Eclectic Hotel Collection offers the most beautiful Townhouse properties perfect for the most relaxing of retreats.
