Top Manchester Pan-Asian eatery Tampopo offers tasty food and tasty prices!

Some of the world’s most exciting cuisines come from East Asia where the food is fresh, healthy and delicious.

Tampopo have pioneered the pan Asian dining experience for over 15 years. Co-founder David Fox has travelled all over East Asia to bring back his favourite dishes – from the bustling markets of Bangkok to the hawker stalls of Singapore and the noodle vendors of Tokyo.

The result – a menu composed of the best street cuisine and signature dishes from across the region delivering stunning and bold food with an amazing variety of flavours and textures.

Choose from light snacks washed down with authentic Asian beers, Asian influenced cocktails, refreshing wines and soft drinks.

Main meals of street food classics, hearty soups in a bowl, wok-fried dishes to seal in flavour, or fragrant curries for that spicy hit. What’s not to like?

Most mains – bold aromatic dishes, fiery stir-fries and delicious noodle classics, or slow-cooked curries and healthy broths – are priced very reasonably at under £10.

Express Lunch from £6.95

Try the legendary Express Menu and you can enjoy one course for as little as £6.95 at lunchtime. You’re also guaranteed not to be rushing back from your lunch break or shopping trip on a full stomach as the service is always on the money too.

If you prefer smaller plates, but struggle to choose just one or two, try the mouth-watering Asian Sharing Platter (just £14.95 for 2 people). Yes, you can have the Fresh Spring Rolls, the BBQ Chicken, some Pork Dumplings, those crumbly Coconut Prawns, some Satay Chicken and even a few Corn Fritters!

Tampopo for Kids

East Asian food is perfect for kids of any age. It’s healthier than most other options out there, and noodles are great fun to eat. Tampopo have special chopsticks for kids to practice with and three different menu options that cater for children of all ages. So bring them along and let the slurping begin! if you need jars of baby food warming or if you would like plastic drinking cups just ask your server.  They also have pens and paper for the kids.

Tampopo for Students

In keeping with Tampopo’s ethos of big servings at small prices, they’ve currently put dining-out firmly back on the menu for students with an amazing offer of 50 per cent off all food and drink. Anyone with valid student ID can enjoy cheap pan Asian eats at half the usual price until the end of October

Many street food favourites come in at under a fiver in this fantastic offer, meaning students can fuel their brains without blowing their budgets. You don’t need to be studying for a PhD in maths to work out that’s a great deal!

Tampopo for Everyone

And to celebrate St Peter’s tram stop finally getting back on track, Tampopo is also giving Albert Square diners 25 per cent off their evening bill throughout October. Book a table at the restaurant after 5pm to qualify for the discount.

So why not strike up a romance with the exciting and exotic food from this incredible part of the world, and enjoy the best cuisine of its kind in Manchester.
