You know things can only get feta when you hear about a cheese fest coming to Manchester.

True cheese aficionados know that, if pressed to choose between a decent cheddar and their immediate family, they’d be helping them pack their bags and shoving them onto the boat: “Sorry Mam, but you know I can’t resist a baked Camembert!”

Well you don’t have to feel like you need to bid farewell to your loved ones in order to get your hands on some cheese. Just take them along to Manchester’s Cheese Fest in February 2018.

Cheese Fest Manchester will satisfy your cheese cravings with a huge range of cheesy stalls and street food traders.

“Do NOT accept any poor imitations! This is the UK’s biggest touring cheese festival!” says the Cheese Fest website.

“Experience some of the cheesiest cheeses in the world with melted raclette, cheese wheels, gooey mozzarella sticks and a whole host of cheesetastic tastes from the UK’s best cheese traders.

“Hosted at venues all over the UK, join us as we transform the iconic cities for a day of the cheesiest delights going.”

The event, which takes place at Bowler’s Exhibition Centre in Trafford Park on Saturday February 24 2018, will also have a selection of drinks available at the bar. Tickets cost from £3 advance, subject to availability.

Tickets are being sold with arrival times of 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Pre-registration tickets. Under 5 years go free. Visit cheesefestuk.com/manchester to register for updates.
