For a few months Tattu, the new restaurant situated on Gartside Street in Spinningfields, has had an air of mystery surrounding it. In a ploy to keep us guessing they have plastered branded and tattooed question marks everywhere! We have seen them projected on buildings, jet washed on our pavements, printed on umbrellas and not forgetting the enormous four glowing on their shop front (check them out on Instagram @tattumcr).

‘…modern, innovative Chinese served
alongside bespoke cocktails’

With anticipation growing and an undisputed buzz around this slick new venue, we like many others are dying to find out exactly what is being formed behind those tall, blacked out windows! Turns out we haven’t got long to wait! Tattu will open its doors on the 27th April for a two week soft launch ahead of the official opening date, the 9th May.

So what can we expect? The offering has been described as modern, innovative Chinese served alongside a premium selection of wines and bespoke cocktails that stimulate all senses. Creating the menu is Executive Chef Andrew Lassetter who has headed up kitchens in some of London’s most fashionable pan Asian restaurants (Circus, Cocoon, Eight over Eight, Kyashii). If that wasn’t exciting enough the food will then be delivered by a highly skilled team, mostly sourced from the infamous Hakkasan Group, who are responsible for many of London’s premium and most celebrated Chinese restaurants (Hakkasan, HKK, Yauatcha, Sake No Hana)

Much like the Tattu branding the food promises to be unlike anything we have experienced in Manchester before and from the 27th April, for two weeks only, diners will have the opportunity to try Tattu at a discounted rate of 50% OFF ALL FOOD.

With limited spaces available make sure you SIGN UP NOW at www.tattu.co.uk, applications close on the 18th April.
