Where were you when Andy Murray won Wimbledon last year? Where will you be this time?

Consider this: lounging in a yellow deck chair in the centre of Manchester, munching on strawberries and cream, sipping on fizz (what else?) and chewing your nails over the action on centre court.

The Lawns in Spinningfields and its wonderful big screen may just be the next place to allow yourself to become infected with the excitement of Britain’s greatest tennis event.

This idyllic spot will screen matches daily from 12pm, and we’re holding out for some more sunshine.

Mumma Schitzel, Caffeine and Co, The Long Bar, the Aperol Spritz tent and Wholesome and Raw will be returning for the second consecutive year to make sure that you’re very much looked after while you while away the hours with the tennis stars. Even if it does rain.

Aperol Spritz will be available for a limited time between Sunday 3rd July and Sunday 6th July, and Bonne Maman from 30th June to 6th July for all your fruity conserves, tangy marmalades and succulent compotes.

See you there! The best 118 fancy dress wins a biscuit.
