Spice up your life at Mercure Manchester’s Spice Girls tribute show

Mercure Manchester Tribute

Swing it, shake it, move it and make sure you make it down to Mercure Manchester in June for an unforgettable throwback to end all throwbacks.

Any Spice Girls fans will be well aware of the huge stadium tour the girl group have planned for 2019 after announcing they were reforming earlier in the year.

Unsurprisingly, tickets sold out fast – so fast in fact, that they added extra dates  – which then also sold out just as fast.

Basically, tickets for the stadium tour are like gold dust. And we’re fresh out of that at I Love MCR HQ.

But aiming to spread a little bit more girl power around the city, Mercure Manchester are providing Mancunians with the very next best thing.

Spice Forever, the UK’s biggest Spice Girls tribute act, are ready to take Manchester on a one way trip to the 90s, and it’s guaranteed there won’t be an empty seat in the house.

The high energy show is jam packed full of girl power, outstanding vocal performances and retro choreography and features all of the Spice Girls biggest hits.

So brush up on your dancing skills and get ready to sing along to Wannabe, 2 Become 1, Viva Forever, Spice Up Your Life and Who Do You Think You Are? to name but a few.

Priced at £29 per person, the tribute night includes tickets for the Spice Forever tribute act, a three-course set menu with some veggie, vegan and gluten-free offerings, a disco, coffee station, special bar offers all night and access to the Late Lounge on level 3.

The view from the Mercure Hotel

Dig into a gooey goats cheese and caramelised onion tart tatin starter with roast beetroot and tomato salad or a freshly roasted red pepper and vine ripe tomato soup drizzled with basil oil.

For mains choose from a garlic and herb marinated chicken breast with sage and onion crushed new potatoes, green beans, sun dried tomatoes and cream – and for veggies or those who fancy the lighter option, baked aubergine stuffed with mixed beans and feta cheese, gratin potatoes, baby corn and tomato coulis.

And satisfy your sweet tooth with dreamy chocolate dipped profiteroles filled with bailey’s cream or a refreshing palate cleansing fruit sorbet.

A night not to be missed by any fans of the legendary pop group. This tribute act’s enthusiasm and stage presence are everything you need for you and your mates to dance and sing the night away. So say you’ll be there and let the Spice Girls viva forever.

Kicking off with a pre-party at 6.30pm, guests will be seated for dinner at 7.30pm followed by the Spice Forever performance with an after party disco to keep you going until the clock strikes midnight.

With a Dancing Shoes dress code, it’s time to break out that Union Jack dress you’ve had hidden away in your wardrobe, unleash your inner diva and get ready for a huge dose of 90s classics.
