Nothing makes a party great quite like an awesome tribute band.
Combining art with nostalgia, there’s nothing like a great tribute act to really get an audience going.
The Mercure Hotel is no stranger to a good knees-up and there’s an event there next month which could be right up your street if you love a spot of rhythm ‘n blues.
The Bullet Blues Brothers, who have been wowing sell-out crowds across the globe, will be rocking into Manchester next month armed with all the R&B classics your heart desires and songs from the legendary Blues Brothers movie too, including Everybody Needs Somebody, Gimme Some Lovin’, Sweet Home Chicago and Rawhide.
Tickets include a three-course fixed menu, coffee, and special bar offers on the evening as well as access to the Mercure Late Lounge on Level 3 to keep the party going into the early hours (it’s open until 3 am).
Start your evening with a drink or two in the bar, before moving in to be seated for dinner at 7.30pm.
You’ll start with a goat’s cheese and caramelised onion tart tatin, roast beetroot and tomato salad, before moving on to a tasty main of garlic and herb marinated chicken breast served with sage and onion crushed new potatoes, green beans and sun-dried tomato cream.
Finish it all off with a sweet treat of chocolate dipped profiteroles filled with Bailey’s cream, before moving on to the dance floor for a disco.
Tickets are priced £29 per person with a limited number of early birds available at just £20 if you’re quick off the mark.
So get on your finest smart casual attire, dust off your trilby and shades and prepare to shake a tail feather for a one-off performance at The Mercure Hotel, Portland Street on Saturday October 20th.
