The festive period is a busy old time for Don Giovanni so if you can’t face the queues on Oxford Road, the good news is that they’ve taken over Per Tutti on Liverpool Road for a winter pop-up with a festive menu like no other.

The pop-up has been showcasing a selection of Don Gio’s italiano favourites all month, with a variety of authentic a la carte dishes on offer alongside wood-fired sourdough pizzas and  fresh seafood specials which change weekly.

They’ve also created a set list of delicious festive dishes to dig into throughout December with five starters, five mains and five desserts to choose from, all for just £29.95 per person. Think the likes of zuppa di barbavietole carote and polpette all casereccia – that’s roasted carrot and parsnip soup, and meatballs to you and me.

Dishes are best enjoyed whilst cosied up in a corner of the quaint restaurant with a glass of  award-winning organic prosecco and perhaps a Bellini too.

On New Year’s Eve they’re hosting a fantastic bash – just £49.50 for a New Year’s Italian feast of 6 courses. Pick from deliciousness like gameroni or the funghi al forno, followed by ravioli neri al granchio – fresh Cornish crab served in a decadent cherry tomato sauce.

Steak lovers will be more than satisfied by the filetto al ferri which hosts succulent cuts of locally-sourced beef, served with fries and garlic butter.

There are plenty of fish and seafood options which arrive fresh daily. If you want to really push the boat out, it’s the lobster thermidore you should really opt for. It’s pan fried with cream, onion and English mustard and portioned just right to leave you satisfied but flavoured to keep you wanting more.

The desserts are decadent and the bar will be serving up an array of fine wines and craft beers alongside artisanal cocktails. You can even pre-order your champagne for midnight to see in the new year in style.
