If you thought there’s no such thing as a free lunch, think again. Because Infamous Diner is giving away 365 burgers – one for every day it has been open – to celebrate its first birthday.

The 1950’s inspired all-American diner opened with a splash last July with Coronation Street stars Brooke Vincent, Katie McGlynn and Catherine Tyldesley joining a host of other celebs, journalists and VIPs.

In March it introduced an epic new menu with more variety, more flavours and a food challenge – 21 pancakes with all the toppings in 30 minutes, which was recently smashed by Randy Santel.

The latest addition is a new set menu, with diner favourites for less. Between 12pm and 6pm Monday to Friday, feast on burgers, hotdogs, wings and desserts from £11.95 for 2 courses.

“We’ve had a great first year and we want to celebrate that and say thank you to our customers old and new,” said Mark Andrew, managing director at owners MAD Ltd.

“We know how much the people of Manchester love a burger, so we’ll be giving away one for every day we’ve been open.”

They also be putting ‘golden tickets’ into three of the burger wraps, with each winning an amazing prize –  a  stay at Garden Park Hotel and tour of Cheshire Farm’s Ice Cream Adventure Park, a spa day and the chance to win burgers for an entire year up for grabs.

As part of the diner’s first birthday celebrations, there will also be a hotdog eating competition at 6pm with customers invited to attempt to break the current world record of eating seven hotdogs in three minutes.

The chefs will also attempt to break the record for the tallest stack of pancakes, which currently stands at 3ft 4 inches.

The 365 burger give away will take place at Infamous Diner on Wednesday 27 July at 12pm. There will be a choice of either an Infamous with cheese or a vegetarian option.

PS Infamous Diner will be also be giving away FREE slushies with every kid’s meal throughout the summer holidays.
