As the nights draw in and you want nothing more than to cuddle up with a good film and ice-cream, pop corn and maybe some champagne too. Heck, why not?

Nowadays people tend to head online to watch their films. The era of Netflix seems to have ousted the era of cinema. Youtube, Gorilla vid, Amazon and many other sites allow you to source or stream all sorts of films in a matter of minutes.

But you’ll never get the experience or the atmosphere that comes with the cinema experience. Especially when it comes to the underground cinema experience that is coming to Manchester just in time for Halloween.

So wrap up warm on Halloween weekend and head down to King Street Hotel where they’re putting on a cinema spread fit for Stephen King.

You’ll be greeted with a glass of champagne before you head down to The Cellars, a luxurious and private boutique screening room in the vaults of the hotel. It’s cosy and dimly lit with just 20 luxurious sofa seats to snuggle up in.

Grab a box of complementary popcorn, get your fill of ice-cream and buckle up.

You even get to choose what film you get to watch with our twitter poll.

Choose from the Stanley Kubrick classic The Shining, cult favourite The Rocky Horror Picture Show or Alfred Hitchcock’s terrifying Psycho and prepare to be spooked at King Street Townhouse.

See you downstairs. If you dare.
